Last week, we were edging into the triple digits nearly every single day for the temperature. As instructors (and dancers), this means that we must be even more serious and committed to properly hydrating our bodies.

  • Be proactive and hydrate in advance. Do not allow yourself to become dehydrated.
  • Carry water with you- do not allow yourself to be unprepared!
  • Know your surroundings. With summer being a popular time to travel, make sure you are hyper aware about your water consumption.
  • Stay in tune with your body. From clothing to perspiration to hydration to rest, know what your body’s needs.
