Our next question focuses on what software programs work for registration and sign-ups for our contributors.
Since Kat works for a variety of studios, she uses her website to communicate with her students. One of her greatest challenges is managing the number of emails she receives each day.
Since Daniel runs a company versus a studio, he uses Microsoft Office for all of his registration needs.
Danielle’ s studio just switched to Studio Director from another system, and they love it so far! They are still learning the system, but have been pleased with what it can do. Pros – super fast support, email reminders are sent to students 3 days prior to their lesson or camp, which has been awesome this summer, and you can’t beat their pricing. Cons – having to learn a new system, which makes things a little more challenging, and slows the process down a bit.
Iclasspro…The pros are endless! You can work from anywhere as it is web based, and it’s almost as simple as using an I-phone. It provides everything from online registration to the ability to take roll from your phone. We love it!
Finding a software system that works for your program is so important. Take the time to research the options and find something that you love. And, do not hesitate to change if you think another option may work better for you at a certain point. Be open to change! Check out some popular options via the Apps & Software Resource Directory.
