The holidays are right around the corner, and many studios are preparing to participate in their local parades. Parades are fun for our students, but they are also a great marketing opportunity for your studio.
Make sure you are taking full advantage of your parade marketing potential by implementing the following tips:
- Make sure your parade unit has two banners: one in the front and one in the back.
- For dress, have your dancers and volunteers (everyone!) wear your logo. You want to guarantee the logo is easy to recognize, read, and spot.
- Stand out from the crowd. How is your float and/or marching unit unique? Do you promote a theme, do you use props, do you incorporate characters? Is everything cohesive and representative of your studio’s brand?
- Distribute information. If possible, hand out information. We have walkers talk & connect with parade attendees, distributing studio postcards with a candy cane attached. Take the time to connect to your community.
