The new Disney/Pixar film Inside Out is a huge hit with my students, and I love the film’s focus on the spectrum of emotions.
The soundtrack features a number of nice instrumental songs that capture an array of emotions. For a fun classroom activity, encourage students to act out the different emotions/feelings of the songs OR teach a combination and encourage the students to change their emotions with the theme of each song (e.g. Bundle of Joy= exciting, joyful dance; Down in the Dumps= sad dance).
