I am not a fan of surprises. In fact, most people do not enjoy surprises, especially if the surprises are related to (1) time and/or (2) money.

Be very clear and detailed in your expectations with your clients and communicate in advance

For example, know your rehearsal schedules in advance. Or, accurately estimate the cost of tuition/costumes/additional opportunities in advance.

Respect others’ time and money. Make sure everything is purposeful and practical.

When a new client joins your program, fully disclose all of the relevant information to being a part of the program.

It is a great way to initiate the client/busines relationship and introduce the brand/culture of your studio.
