For some events, we have the luxury of submitting music via iPad or DropBox, but for most performances or competitions, the general standard for music submission is a CD.

When burning CDs, there are two factors that impact the quality of sound:

  • Purchasing quality CD-Rs (that can be burnt just once) and not the rewritable  CD-RWs
  • Burning at a slower rate.

The combination of the of the disc type and the burn rate significantly impacts the quality of the finalized disc.

After burning the discs, check and re-check their sound quality and accuracy prior to the performance/competition.

Once your CDs are finalized, consider stomping them with your brand/logo. This makes a great impression and helps you keep all of the information organized in a visually appealing way.
