At first glance, dance teachers may not have many similarities with Peter Pan’s sidekick, but, in actuality, there’s a major commonality that aligns with the creative process.
1. Tinkerbell’s light dims when she lacks energy and positive surroundings. Similarly, when dance instructors are stressed or have their focus misdirected into negativity, energy wasting situations, our creativity can suffer.
2. When Tinkerbell’s light shines bright, she is happy, content, and full of energy. When dance educators are supported and trusted, we enjoy the opportunity to creatively thrive.
The lesson to be applied to our lives is the delicacy of balance. How can we reach out fullest creative potential within the stress and the chaos of our daily lives? How can our self-awareness help us grow as artists while managing our businesses and our brands?
